Rain across Sweden this summer, station by station, against each station's own 1991 to 2020 normal.

July was dry almost everywhere, with the typical station getting about three quarters of its normal rain. August split the country in two. The south stayed very dry, with Skåne stations getting well under half their normal August rain, while northern Norrland got 171 percent of normal.
September has turned things around in Skåne. The typical station has had about 130 percent of its normal rain so far, Kristianstad nearly double. Svealand is the exception: it has now been dry since July, with the typical station at 77 percent of normal this month.
The October outlook leans slightly dry for Skåne, but the signal is small, less than the difference between two neighbouring stations in a single month. For Svealand a dry October would stretch an already long dry spell.
